Shadow Ghost - Page 115

writes, "My name is Kerri. For many
years I had the ability to see
shadow ghosts; as I like to call
them. The occurrences of seeing them
would happen at least once a day,
often much more. They appear as
black shapes, most often in human
forms, peeking around corners or
hiding around tables, or anything
else they can find. These beings
though, are incredibly fast, and
when you catch them out of the
corner of your eye, you look, and
there is absolutely nothing there
but what should be (like the wall,
the doorway, etc.) .Also, I seemed
to be followed by them, as I'd seen
them in other places besides my
home. For years I thought this to be
my imagination, and I told no one
about it. Finally, I found a few
websites that explained what I could
be seeing. The thing is, I didn't
even believe until someone else I
was with saw them too. One night,
when I was about thirteen, I was
babysitting a seven year old girl.
We were in my basement, watching TV.
We were both sitting in a large
chair in the center of the long,
almost corridor-like basement, and
the door to my room at the far end
was open. While looking at the TV,
out of the corner of my eye, I saw a
familiar 'shadow', leaning out a
bit, out of my open door, looking
around it, and I could make out the
'hand' of it as well holding onto
the doorframe. I just casually
looked over, and it disappeared. I
always did this to make them go
away, as I knew it worked, and I was
used to it, thinking it was my
imagination in the first place. I
looked back to the TV, and didn't
think much more of it, until Jessica
looked over to me. With a look of
confusion mixed with fear, she
stared at me and said " There's
someone in your room..". This was
the first time anyone has ever said
that they had seen something too, at
the same time I had. I looked back
to her, and not wanting to scare
her, I made an excuse of what it
was. She calmed down a bit, but I
was scared out of my mind. Now I
knew I wasn't really seeing things
as I had previously thought. They
were real. After that, I would still
see them just as much as usual, but
I was a little more frightened
knowing now that it wasn't my eyes
playing tricks. Yet, I wasn't scared
that they would attack me or hurt
me, as they had never tried to
before, nor had they ever tried to
communicate or approach me...at
least during the day. Sometimes at
night, I would think I would hear
things in my room, and I've even
thought to have felt a hand on my
leg, and someone sitting down on the
end of my bed near my feet. I always
shook this off as my cat, but when I
would move to see if it was him, it
wouldn't be. This only happened a
few times. Now we come to the
present. I don't see any shadow
beings anymore, or at least, haven't
seen anything in quite some time.
This may be perhaps, that I am not
as sensitive anymore because I've
grown out of my adolescence. But,
also, after quite a few years of
seeing these shadows, and being
bothered by them, I was getting fed
up. One day, after seeing one,
looking for it, and it disappeared,
I took the opportunity to tell them
what I thought. " Alright, that's
it, please...please leave me
alone...it bothers me that your
here...please, just GO AWAY!". All
of my frustration vented out, I felt
more comfortable. Since then, I've
only perhaps caught a glimpse of
them maybe 6 times, considerably
less than the usual once a day, and
it's been about two years or more.
Although, about three months ago, in
my bedroom, as I was looking in the
mirror, and I swore I saw a dark
figure moving out of my view behind
me. Perhaps my shadow friends...are
back...

P.S. This is all completely true. I
do not lie about these sort of
things and I've told many of my
family and friends now about these
incidents. I'm not afraid either to
be asked questions about it.
