My name’s Richard from Birmingham, UK. "I came across your site today, and thought I’d post my picture up as well to see what you guys thought. It’s a screen grab from a video done in 2000, of a friend of mine’s college project (which was a period film trailer) which was for his A Levels…(exams before university if anyone’s unsure) (By the way, to protect identity, I’ve blurred my friend’s face, who is facing the camera.) We were filming in Ludlow castle in the West Midlands for this project, and the building we were filming in was a round ‘keep’, in castle terms. The building had windows all around it, and beyond the windows was just a stone wall, that was the other part of the castle’s interior wall system. I am in the picture, in the gold and orange outfit with my back to the camera. My eyeline was viewing out through that window, and I can confirm that there was no doorway, entrance, or window of any kind belonging to the castle. Incidentally, all the windows and doorways within the castle grounds are a completely different shape to the shape/figure in the picture. I don’t have a logical explanation for this figure on our video, as I can say categorically that this is not a fake, nor a simple explanation like a doorway or window on the other wall. If anyone has any background knowledge or history on Ludlow castle, or has any theories, I’d love to read them."
