Anne writes, "I stumbled across your article on shadow ghosts and was wondering if you could give me more information on them. What do they look like, specifically? How can you tell the difference between them and normal shadows? I often see patches of static-like blackness at night, but until now, I had assumed that this was caused by my poor vision. This static once appeared to have a pinkish hue, and snaked through my room like the Aurora Borialis, but they occurred this way only once. I also have seen green rings which create the opposite of a ripple effect, shrinking into each other. Most of the time, the rings are on the ceiling. Perhaps these happenings are not at all paranormal, but as soon as I read the request for photos, I felt that I should write.
