John was interesting and
entertaining from the onset,
spending the first part of the
seminar discussing how he came to be
a medium and understand his gift
to how and why spirits
interact with us and how we can
interact with them.
He told personal stories of his
family, his friends, and of people
he’s read. His stories were light,
humorous, and occasionally tragic.
John had a very comfortable,
straightforward, easygoing air about
him, and the audience spent a great
deal of time laughing throughout the
seminar.
His readings were amazingly
accurate, and definitely not
leading. When he did miss, it would
invariably be shown to be the end of
that particular persons’ reading,
and the beginning of another
persons’ reading. The “miss” would
actually be the bridge to the next
person. For
example, his readings jumped
from one family to the next using a
“cookie” connection. The first
family was connected to Oreo
cookies, and while they were
discussing the Oreo cookie
connection
to their loved one, John
suddenly asked them, “Who’s Grandma
Cookie?
I'm hearing 'Grandma Cookie'.”
The family was at a loss, when
someone in the back raised her hand
and said, “That’s my nickname, I
have gone by Cookie since I was a
young girl, and my grandchildren all
call me Grandma Cookie,
now”. The next reading flowed right
over to her family, and once again,
was very accurate.
John also took the time to patiently
teach lessons here and there
whenever the opportunity arose. He
hosted a Question and Answer
session, choosing a handful of
people and giving them the
opportunity to ask him a question.
He graciously answered them all with
a confidence that comes from
experience.
John made Jim and I smile more than
once when he said things that
supported and validated the
conclusions that our own research
here at Ghoststudy has shown us.
And of course, he ended his seminar
the same way that he always ended
Crossing Over, reminding us to communicate,
appreciate and validate our
loved ones every day.
If you think that John Edward is
amazing to see on TV, catch him in
person if you get the chance. He’s
twice as fascinating when you see
this incredible man at work right in
front of you.
