This pic from your site was similar to one posted last year by a woman who took a picture of her cat and saw a similar small face of a child-like being with seemingly empty eye sockets. These are indeed real beings. (if I may be so presumptuous.)

These creatures are indeed real and seem to delight often in 'stealing' items and often returning them. I have a former girlfriend who told me of these little creatures who used to hang around her grandmother and were constantly taking things and tugging at her skirt, especially in the kitchen when she cooked or was working. The interesting thing is that when they return the items, they are placed in the exact center of an area; center of a couch, floor, table, etc. -I ended up hating these things rather immensely, as they seemed to also follow Cathy too. I have had several items of importance disappear not long after putting them in my wallet, backpack, in a drawer, wherever. I have never seen them personally, but in my mind I knew exactly what they looked like, so it is chilling to see a photograph like this in such detail.

The items were (mostly) always returned, and again, always in in the exact center of of an area. -We dubbed them the 'Scurriers' because often there would be a scurrying sound like a small, fat dog trying to get traction on a freshly waxed floor for about 3-5 seconds. Often preceded by a crashing sound of what seemed to be a massive stack of of huge loose writing paper. Or some other unexplainable noise that there was no reason for, nor evidence of anything left behind. -These little creatures seem to follow family members generationally like pets and can be talked to and even reprimanded, which Cathy told me her grandmother did often with them. Usually when a piece of jewelry went missing. One item that actually disappeared from my possession was a tiny teddy bear at the beach I was showing Cathy. She set it on the log we were leaning on and 'Poof' simply gone! Cathy never played practical jokes, NEVER lied, and had no interest in any psychic, ghostly or metaphysical stuff. -Anyway, the tiny teddy showed up 21 days later in the center of her couch and we both got those chills that last a long time afterwards. I asked her not to touch it, as I knew it had NOT been there OR at the beach for the last 3 weeks. I picked it up between 2 fingers and smelled it all over. -It smelled lightly of burnt sulfur and ozone.

I can't say for certain what these creatures are, but like Bigfoot spirits the Indians talk about and other spirit anomalies in nature, I have more first hand info than I care to digest. I am still a bit pissed after 3 years at what was taken and NOT returned. I share this because I like your site and you people seem very serious in your attempt to honestly understand some odd stuff out there and present it with a level head and with professional objectivity.

I have ghost hunted before and generally not at all liked what I found. I have also shown people that often an underground stream or body of water can produce what might seem to be a haunting, but is merely an electromagnetic anomaly creating a type of vortex, which CAN often ease severe physical AND emotional suffering for some reason when a person stands in, or near the center of it. Moving water under the right circumstances seems to distort time and space a bit and create a sort of 'Timeless pocket'.

Hope this helps some of your viewers understand a bit more of what might be a possible added explanation for this type of occurrence.

You may publish this on your site as you see fit as well as my email. I am always interested in knowing more.

Thanks for all your great work and attention to detail.

Sincerely,
William Bertram.
