Face of the crucified Christ?
Rose-Mary writes, "We are used to stains and carvings in the form of words
and religious symbols appearing on the walls of our haunted Welsh farmhouse.
We even get the occasional image of a monk or a girl’s face, not there one
minute, but there the next. We were however, considerably taken aback, when one
morning at the beginning of April 2003, we found an image on the fireplace
in the lounge, which resembled the face of the Crucified Christ. I am a
Christian, but that tortured, haunting face is probably not something I
would willingly display in my home! A few days after the image of the face
was discovered, the word IUDAEUS, Latin for Jew, or of Judea, was found
above the image. In the last few minutes we discovered the word CHRISTUS,
Latin for Christ, below the face! We have no explanation as to why we should
be favoured in this way!"
