HOW DID YOU GET RID OF YOUR HAUNTING?

Were you able to rid yourself of a haunting? If so, we want to hear about it! What did you try and what actually worked? Was it mild, active or evil? We’re not looking for ghost stories necessarily, but we do want to hear about your methods and techniques. Please share this valuable information with us and our audience.

In my last house there was a shadow ghost which used to push me out of bed and appear standing in the side of the hallway, sometimes it would be wearing a hat and sometimes it wouldn’t. One night I went to bed, and there was nothing there, I was only 5 or 6 at the time and I didn’t know what a ghost was. I went into my bed, there was no one there, and I got unconformable, so I turned around and the shadow ghost was laying beside me, so I screamed and before I could get up, the shadow ghost pushed me out of the bed, but it didn’t move or anything! I was crying and everything, so I ran into the living room to my parents and told them a man was in the room, but when we went back in no one was there!

I slept in my parents room since then, but it was freezing in there! Which also freaked me out. Soon, my parents brought back some friends and let them stay overnight in the room, and they didn’t stay long because they seen the ghost as well!

Also, my mum began to think it was the dog and me. She had an old painting of a little girl and a collie, at the time, I was a little girl and we had a collie called Shep - who was really old, so we don’t have him now, though we have a collie pup called Sheppy, named in memory of Shep. The girl she said looked like me, though I never seen the picture.

My dad said that the dog used to look up to the corner of a room and tilt its head side to side as if been spoken too, and I seen a show on the television on UKTV History saying that the Victorians believed Devil sits in the corners of rooms! That freaked me out, because my mum said the painting was Victorian.

Soon everything was getting way out of control, so we moved house, leaving the painting in the last house by accident - but after we left the painting, everything seemed to get better and I’ve never had any trouble since. I guess possessed items related to ghosts is a way to banish them.
